SCANDINAVIAN COVERS
Classic pulp covers from the Swedish Manhattan list, a Finnish series featuring Eddie Constantine, plus some Finnish Manhattans and some Danish editions. SWEDEN The B Wahlström Publishing Company - founded in Sweden in 1911 - beagn the Manhattan series in the early 1950s, with similar authors to the French Presses de la Cité list. The covers for the Manhattan books were illustrated from the start by Bertil Hegland, now a legendary figure in Swedish publishing (a page on the artist will follow here soon).
